IST to PST converter
PST is 12 hours 30 minutes behind IST for most of the year. The gap is different for part of the year, because only one side changes its clocks: in 2026 that is 1 January to 7 March (13 hours 30 minutes) and 1 November to 31 December (13 hours 30 minutes). If you schedule something in that period, check the date.

About the two time zones
India Standard Time (IST). Used in: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai. No daylight saving: the offset is the same all year.
India is UTC+5:30, so conversions often end in :30. IST can also mean Irish Standard Time or Israel Standard Time; here it means India.
Pacific Time (PST/PDT). Used in: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver. Clocks go forward on the second Sunday in March and back on the first Sunday in November.
People write PST all year round, even in summer when the clocks say PDT. This tool treats PST, PDT and PT as the same thing: the current time in Los Angeles.
